Football Programmes Centre

After proposals from several members of the site to produce a Tipster League from next season I will organise a FPC League. The format will be similar to a normal round-robin (football) league and the number of head-to-heads will be gauged by interest.

As a raw starter here are those of us who definitely appear interested, based on number of times played this past year:

A place in the League is offered by right to all of the above (unless I am told otherwise).

Anyone else, including the following who played last year (the following number of times) are more than welcome to "apply for election" to the league and join in ... please reply as appropriate.

The number of entries will determine how many leagues are required and all the detail that will follow (fixtures etc.)!!

Sounds good Dan - definitely count me in.

I'm also considering running a seperate competition which will be for the Football League rather than Premier League, providing there is enough interest - but I'll set up another topic for that at some other point.

Id like to play next season too. I joined the old board half way through last season so never really got into the competition but it should be a fresh start for me next season.

Pretty simple. I've been running a PL Prediction comp for 5 years now, and next year I'm planning a League format alongside the regular event so you sort of play the other guys on here head-to-head as well.

The basic premise is:

Predict SCORES

3 pts Correct Score
2 pts Correct Margin
1 pt Correct Result

Bonus Points:
1 pt for 6 out of 10
2 pts for 8 out of 10
2 pts for Correct First Scorer (you nominate one player/team)

Tiebreakers won't apply for head-to-head player league purposes - a draw is a draw... Win 3 pts, Draw 1 pt.

Well into double figures now. If we get 20 exactly we can run a simple head-to-head (mirroring the PL fixture list as it were!)

Found me a Round Robin Scheduler!!
