i have some manchester united away programmes from the 70s all with faults some with writing on them, folds or bits missing. so what should i do with them.

Why not remove the staples and sell them as scrap metal, then place the programmes in the recycle bin?

Depends on the seriousness of the faults. There are some collectors (like me) who don't mind writing as long as it is a) provides more info (e.g. team changes) and b) isn't on the front cover.

But it sounds like you may have to bin them.
