The West Ham team has Bobby Moore and John Lyall in the line up.

Did you get this programme?
My Dad was the referee for this game and we sold his programme a number of years ago to a Woodford Town collector who lived on Mersea Island Essex. Potentially you might know him as many local programme collectors seemed to.

One question I might ask you though is did you know the score?
My Dad couldn't remember he thought it was something like 8-0 only recalling that west ham were much too good for clapton.
It also had Harry Cripps and Joe Kirkup in the line up.

Just had a look at a West Ham programme from later that season and it shows the score as being WHU 11 Clapton 0

The programme has sold on flee-bay in the last 18mths £9.50 - £51.00

One of those programmes that used to be very rare and now seems to be coming up on ebay all the time.

Thanks Andrew and MisterG for the score, I couldn't manage any searches for it which gave me anything other than the actual youth cup final score information for 1957.
Think my Dad would've been very surprised by the £51 on ebay for it or is that an offered with £9.50 it went for?
(sounds like it could have someday out-priced the likes of 66 world cup final and 67 celtic inter euro final programmes).

Do you know the Woodford Town collector on Mersea Island colchester?
I think he might have sold some of the mainly essex area non-league other programmes which were in the ones he had from us as he was mainly interested in the Woodford Town ones.
