Anyone know much about the programmes for the WC 1966? I have read there are several reprints for the final programme itself, but has there ever been a reprint for the tournament brochure? If so, how can you tell which is original, and which is a copy?

Not aware that the Tournament brochure was reprinted, just that there was loads of them done in the first place.

Have a look at this site here http://www.btinternet.com/~j.cookman/cpindex.html, click the world cup finals link, there is a good guide to the Final programme, original, 1966 reprint(printed in 1966), 1970 reprint, WH Smith reprint, etc.
As a guide for the Final the England v West Germany (on the front) needs to be wrote in blue, not black for it to be an original and it needs to weight 130 grams exactly and measure 17.8cm x 22.8cm. I'm almost certain the reprint from 1966 printed just after the Final is more or less identical to the original but weighs 127/128 grams and the back page is a deeper green..
I don't think there is a 1966/1970 reprint of the actual tournament brochure programme, it can be picked up for a few quid anyway and would cost more to reprint than an original would be worth, there could be a modern reprint that was included in one of those tacky souvenir packs that some unlucky collectors get for christmas.
