There is a bit more - but its in another cupboard. England homes, Free Lions and World Cup Euro Programmes.

TBH the rest I have sold, as I dont have a programme hut!!! Project Mortgage clearance has been my main goal for the last 3 years or so!

Wayhey. My new shelves have just arrived. Now have to put them together and then put all the progs back in place.

Had this floor to ceiling bookshelf built when we moved from a 2 to 3 bedroom house - its just the two of us. Programmes post 1997 I just store in cardboard boxes.

Im in the process of transferring all my video's onto DVD. Got to 80 so far.

Over 400 matchworn shirts as well stored in the attic. Boxes all over the place. Guess the images shows about 40% of the stuff accumulated over the years. Maybe start to look for a 4 bedroom house!!

Im using a Dazzle DVC 101 - cost about £40.

That includes Pinnacle software for conversion but I "acquired" Pinnacle 14 to do the job.

Plenty of space on your hard drive. Before conversion a match can take 70 Gigs. Though I did leave one to run while at word and that was over 300GB.

After that is is just time. Basically you play the video through - say 120 mins for a match and it then has to render the images to the disc probably another 90 mins.

Then time if you want any effects and so on.

Pretty simple on the whole.

Initially I was trying to do it on a PC with a 80GB hard drive and wonderers why I was having problems but since I upgraded to a 1.4TB machine its dead simple.

Once I have finished the Oldham videos I have about 200 PNE games that I bought as a collection to start converting. I picked up DVDrw discs for about 40p each and DVD+r for about 17p on ebay.

If you go for it maybe we could swap games?

I have done all mine and have about 80 games and around 15 season reviews. All I do is run my VCR through a scart into my DVD recorder and record in real time. Once I have sorted the disc I then just copy using the fast speed dvd burner in the machine. Very simple.

Norwich games always wanted if people have stuff to sell/copy.

I am showing below how i had some of my collection stored at my previous place. Something like 600 binders each one having a programmes or menus inside-each one "fitted" onto cards with acid free archival tape and then having a film fronted bag over each one.
I have since moved house and have a different layout and no longer use the the old fashioned "DJ" Binders[the ones sold by PM as in my opinion they are no longer suitable, I use special heavy duty A4 clear sheets that are acid free and binders either from the makers of the sheets or the coloured flexible plastic framed binders that allow me to fill them up to nearly 4" wide. I will post images of the latest set up later today.

I will also send some images later of the way i store the actual programmes onto the sheets before they go in to the binder, and if anyone wants any information where to obtain the special acid free sheets which from memory are around £25 for a pack of 50 plus vat and carriage-let me know.

So there you have the process, you get 25 self adhesive strips 8" long by half an inch widewith a lip on, or a V cut as they say, cut into any lenghth place each piece inside the programme or any paper item-remove the protective backing then place whereever you need it to go on the page and the items NEVER move and are always in place-wonderfull. The clear sheets are supplied also in 50's i have put the makers details on them so anyone can go on line see what they have and if they need to order just call them up, been using this system for 12 years-none better. Sick and tired of programmes and tickets and everything else all falling in about in which ever plastic sleeve you put them into whether they cost 2p or 52p! each-plus your items are being looked after as well at the same time. I will send some other images later of the binders and how i have laid out part of my collection-this is what it is all about-sharing knowledge-sharing views why horde it all!

I bought a bookcase a few years back to keep my programmes in. I've got pretty much everything I want back to the early 60s, so the progs I'm buying now don't take up too much room. That's a good thing because the bookcase is now full!

Most of them I just store piled up, with only the earlier programmes in boxes. They don't get any direct sunlight where they are.

Love the programme hut though Grantham, awesome!
