Noticed before the match was even played that Scunthorpe's programme for Millwall on Easter monday was been listed on ebay as 'rare'. I know people overuse that word when selling programmes but come on!

The people who really are in the know will be able to tell you if it's truly rare.

To me "Rare" means that the programme is in limited supply and is one which all collectors are after, things that bring in the very large sums of money that come up once in a blue moon, and the price is usually over £300.

I see items on Ebay listed as rare that don;t sell for .99p

certainly not rare,millwall's programme shop had a fair amount on saturday.

Putting the word rare in the title is just plain daft and i agree it should be banned. It annoys me, like the word genius, used to desciribe any Tom Dick or Carlos who toe ends a ball and it goes in the net from 35 yards, and takes their goal tally up to five for the season

I wish it was rare.... My 20 odd copies would make me rich then.

Unfortunately it isn't rare so they won't make me rich!!!!

Continuing on the overuse of the word rare i've just seen Scunthorpe v Millwall 99-00 listed on ebay as 'very rare'. Interested to much how many thousends this sells for.
