No programme issued for game last night. Spoke to printers this morning and told that they had been told by saints not to print as it had comments by Alan pardew. I was under the impression that it was against FA/ league rules not to print some form of programme for a professional fixture, can anyone confirm this.

For a rule to be effective it has to be enforced. Obviously Saints are again doing their own thing this following on from the non issue league fixture at home to Southend last season.

Incidentally have any Saints v Southend programmes turned up on the market yet? Should make somebody a nice profit if any do.

I was told today in an email by a club official that no programme was printed due to unforeseen circumstances!!! That means that Pardews comments were in the programme and were changed to Dean Wilkins comments.
I assume they didnt have time to print any copies which is a shame as reading it may have entertained me during the game!!!!!

Not the first time that no programme was issued as it happened in the last game against Southend, Which you could have a copy of if you subscribed to the online subscription.

What do people think of online programmes???? They are cheaper by a £1 at Saints but not the same in my opinion.
