the picture under the king is from 1953

Could the 4th team be Doncaster Rovers. When enlarged, there is a mention of a photographer from Doncaster and the kit matches that from the 1904-05 season.

Agree with Rocky about the top one.

Middle one definitely is Chelsea, Tommy Lawton in front row, sitting second right, so just post-war, probably 46/7, though he also played some war-time games there. Could be John Harris sitting behind the trophy, he also played war-time games there. So could be 45/6.

Bottom one probably Doncaster with the local stamp on it.

Bottom one does look like Belle Vue (Doncaster), also with the trees in the background which overlook the racecourse.
Not sure it's Doncaster Rovers though, although we did wear stripes between 1924-1930 and won the Wharncliffe Cup in 1926 & 1928 (which may/may not be the Trophy on display). or the Doncaster Challenge Cup which were both Reserve team comps and was won a few times during that short period.

What we know so far.

It is Belle Vue
The date is somewhere between 1922 and 1927.
The Shield is not the Div 3 North Championship
It's not the Wharncliffe Charity Cup
It's not the Sheffield County Cup


Is it a DRFC first or reserve team? Possibly. (The striped kit pretty much matches what was worn in that period although it's not the kit of the 26/27 season which had red collars and white shorts)
