A nice obit for Gordon McQueen, St Mirren, Leeds, Man Utd & Scotland centre half of the 70's and 80's, appeared in the i paper on Thursday this week. I nearly missed it, but thought some of you might like to read it.

Vascular dementia again. He was 70 but an otherwise fit man with a cruel cerebral illness, a long career built on ability to head the ball no doubt a contributory factor. He was not alone.

RIP Gordon.

Yes Pete Indeed a contributory Factor for sure. A lot of ex players now from that era and prior will be worryingly concerned. A terrible price to have to pay to play.
