Swindon 1940s programmes

Just made an addition to my collection of a Swindon 1948/49 programme and have discovered I already have the same programme, but printed on different colour paper. I wonder if anyone can advise if this was this a regular occurrence for Swindon programmes of this period?

Although it doesn't show 2 instances of the same programme it does show that a variety of colours were used throughout the season, and therefore not totally unexpected if the same issue appears on different paper

A few clubs in the 1940s especially in the lower divisions have different colour issues, due to the paper shortage after the war. Printers would use whatever was available at the time.

I have two copies of Blackburn Rovers v Manchester City from the same game in 1947-48 season each with a different cover. Apparently Rovers switched between covers that season, also presumably using some of each for individual games.

I also have two versions of the Rovers v Manchester City game for that season but haven't seen 2 different covers for other games

Bernie.. Man City and Stoke have issues with both covers..
