Match reports and press cuttings.

Hi guys ,I am looking for match reports and press cuttings from the following teams games :
Portsmouth 57-59,
Blackburn 59-61,
Aston Villa 61-63,
Peterborough 63-65,
Leicester City 65-67,
Wolves 67-75.
Appreciate any help with these.

Hi, the British Newspaper Archive includes issues covering most of your needs but does require a subscription. The Sports Argus will give you the Villa and Wolves info and The Leicester Evening Mail and Football News (Nottingham) for Leicester. The People and other national papers will have some reports dependant on the opponents as they are mostly Londoncentric.
Flickr has Blackburn reports in Bernie Horne’s albums and Portsmouth in Peter Jenkins albums. Peterborough games will also be included in some of those papers again dependant on their opponents.

Thanks Blue for the info just been on Archive site looks promising ......but it really is the original press cuttings and match reports that I am looking to obtain .

Glad you found it useful, just to clarify the reports on Flickr are scans of the original newspaper reports.

I have thousands of reports on my site. If anything you need involves Rovers you might be lucky and find one or two there.
