I wonder if there are any Colchester United collectors who could possibly help me?

Colchester United v Brentford 24 March 1979.

What colours did Brentford wear? This is what i'm after! I believe Brentford wore the QPR change strip!

In the next Colchester home programmes, versus Carlisle (2 April) and versus Tranmere (6 April), are there any photos of the home game v Brentford inside? If there are any pictures (I know some Clubs didn't reproduce photos inside), is it possible to send me a scan of the pages? Or, if you confirm there are pictures, I'll buy them on ebay.

Also, do you have any newspaper reports that include photos?

hi just checked programme no colours shown , but have sent two black and white photos from programme a couple of weeks later

Had a look through Colchester Tranmere Programme 6th April 1979.
No mention or pics of Brentford game, as Programme was done post Carlisle going by managers notes. The action photo does show Mansfield game which was prior to Brentford though so you may want to be looking at Colchester oxford sat 14th April if that makes sense!?
