Anyone have any joy today?

I lost out on a couple of WW1 era West Ham homes, both went over £2,000 with commission

Managed to get a couple of 1920s homes for a reasonable price

Only one I was after, and it didn't sell. I think the estimate was a bit too high though. A lot of very good rare stuff on there from most clubs.

I was bit perplexed with a few lots, Tottenham home 1931 on its own reached a bid of £65 and was apparently not sold. But the next lot had 5 pre WWI Spurs homes which sold for £200, so £40 each. I expect they had high reserves (auction price that is!).

Also some Man City pre War were unsold at bids of £100+ but others sold at £90.

But there again i don't really understand how the auctionneers work, with regard to reserves, commissioned bids etc.
