Great article Steve. Really good read and some great pics of the programmes (The Stirling Albion one being my favourite obviously)

Re the Kilmarnock game at Kilmarnock in the fifties, perhaps a good place to enquire is with Douglas or Gordon at D and D Programmes in Kilmarnock

I don't see the programme for sale in their catalogue but they may be able to give you a steer as to if one was issued etc.

Thanks, Jim. I can only take credit for the games against Rangers near the end - the original article was written by another Steve (derby1884) several years ago.

Then, of course, there's the infamous 59/0 Derby v Celtic friendly which certainly was never played, almost certainly didn't have a programme printed and may only have been either an aborted match or even a misprint in a dealer's catalogue all those years ago.

Anyone here know whether DERRY played Celtic in 59/60?

I always suspected the misprint theory was the most likely one.

Yes, they did. They played Derry, Drumcondra, Cork Hibs and Limerick in May 1960

Derry City 0-3 Celtic, 19-5-1960 (no known programme for that one either)
