Club Curiosities Cartoons

Please could any forum member help me to identifiy the publication which carried a set of cartoon strips called "Club Curiosities"

I have a cutting which covers the not-so-mighty Minstermen, numbered around 90, which I think originates from around Jan 49. It consisted of four cartoons.

I suspect it came from one of the many weekly sports/football mags of the period, but not 100% sure.

They were, by the sound of them, reproduced in the Soccer magazine (1947 to 1950).

Volume 1 (1947 to 1949) issued the first 16? Volume 2 (1949 to No.8 March 1950) the next 8? Not too sure. What happened to the rest of them?

Does yours have a notation at the bottom, acknowledgements to "Sporting Record"? See picture below.
If so, it's part of the same set as those reproduced in Soccer magazine. Trouble is, the magazine was, it seems, produced for just a short period. It's finding out if another magazine took over reproducing these 'Club Curiosities'.

My York City cutting is indeed number 13, and has the acknowledgement to Sporting Records as you suggested it would.

I have various late 40s/early 50s mags, such as Sport Weekly / Sport Express etc but have never heard of "Soccer".
