Hi all. This is my first post to the forum in the hope that someone may have some info on a couple of Aldershot programmes missing from my collection.

I have been looking for two Aldershot home programmes from the 1968/69 season which I can't seem to find anywhere. Had a look at the dealer websites I know of, ebay and Shots supporting friends but with no luck. The two games in question are actually in the same week:
Aldershot v Bradford Park Avenue - 9th October 1968
Aldershot v Bradford City - 12th October 1968

It seems a bit of a coincidence that the only two competitive home programmes I'm missing from 1967 to the present day are from the same week. It's made me think that there must have been a supply issue or that programmes weren't produced at all.

Any information anyone can provide on the whereabouts of these programmes would be very much appreciated.

both programmes are listed by Brentside, not sure about the dates,would check first.

Already checked and the dates are spot on.

I have a bound volume of 68/9 Aldershot homes and I can confirm that both programmes you refer to exist and printed with the dates you state.

Both 8 page issues, nothing unusual about them other than the one v BPA is the only occasion I've seen the word "circlet" used to describe a club's colours...

While we are on the subject of Aldershot, does anyone know if a programme was issues for the 67/68 pre-season friendly against Pompey and if so has anyone got one spare?

I,m not an expert on friendlies but on the list I have, its ticked off as a programme/ teamsheet.

One of the other pompey lads should be able to help you.......

Thanks very much to everyone that replied. I was sure I visited the Brentside site but hey ho, age is obviously starting to be a factor! Great to know that the programmes exist though and I can fill in the gaps.

Now, for a real challenge I'd love to know if anyone knows of the existence of Eastleigh v Aldershot Town from the Hampshire Senior Cup, 15th March 2007!!

I think that one might be trickier to find!
