York City home programmes 1923 - 1951 - help requested

I am currently writing and researching a book on York City’s old ground at Bootham Crescent.

After over two years of hard toil, the book is starting to take shape, and I’m optimistic that it will eventually make it to print before the club moves to a new stadium on the outskirts of the City. There now appears to be more certainty that work will start on the new ground in October.

Alongside this, I am compiling a list of all home programmes, which I plan to publish via a website I hope to set-up linked to the book. This list is about 50% complete, but by filling in a few gaps it can help indicate the likely issues that appeared inbetween two dates.

Please may I ask any fellow forum members to provide details of any City homes they have from the period 1922 – 1951.

Prog Number, date, and opponents.

Similarly, I'm looking for scans of any old York home tickets pre-1960 that forum members would be happy to share

The post a few years ago was from Russ, who did a lot of hard work to establish a detailed list. I am just trying to build on that and fill a few more gaps as stuff is coming out the woowork all the time now.

Sorry can't help with issue numbers as I haven't got the programmes any more, sold them some years ago. But i have them marked as existing on the web site cfchistory.com - see the Stats and Records / Lineups
