Welsh Amateur Cup medal 1946-47.

I have recently obtained a Welsh Amateur Cup 1946-47 silver winners medal. It belonged to a member of the Troedyrhiw team that beat Llay Unt 5-0 in the final.The name of the recipient is not known. Any suggestions on the value of this medal would be welcome. Many thanks.

If you stuck it on Ebay, unless two people got in a bidding war, I would say £20-£30

DENBIGH, many thanks for the reply.lf the medal had a name on the back , it is one of those items that you would gladly give to the player's children/ grandchildren . I don't think that Troedyrhiw FC even exist as a football team anymore .Thanks for your help, there are some very knowledgeable people on this forum!

I would have said similar to Denbigh though, maybe £25 to £40 - although it's always worth auctioning something like that (as opposed to listing it as a BIN) as you never know mate.
