1960/61 League Cup 5th Rd Rotherham v Portsmouth 13/02/61

Hi All

I have a pristine copy of the above programme for the first season of the league cup, any ideas on the value. I have seen a seller listing one on Ebay at £39.99 but that has team changes and minor creasing.

This is as near mint as you will get for a programme of this age, flat, clean and no writing, any help would be appreciated.

Out the top of my head this is not a difficult programme to find........

If you get £40, you would have done well (did the one on e bay sell, how many bids..?.)

Now if you find Pompey v man city or Chelsea in the FLC, you will get a good price

Hi Pete

Thanks for your input, the one currently on Ebay has not sold and there are no sold copies in the search so was just trying to get a fair price for it before listing. I had an inkling the one currently listed may have been too much especially with team changes.

I was thinking around the £35 mark as the condition really is good and I would be happy with that, can you remember what you paid for your copy if you have one?

Well since no one had a bleeding clue as to the value of this I have given it the ultimate test for a bit of fun. Plonked it on Ebay starting at 99p!! as below.

If you are interested you might be able to fill a hole in your collection for a bargain price as I can't find any at all for sale out there so must be quite hard to get hold of.

Yes sir I think Pete's right , I had a copy in reasonable condition for years and a couple of years ago I picked one up on eBay for 25quid in excellent condition, amazingly no one else bid on it
