Post subject: 2016 PREMIER PROGRAMME FAIR LONDON 4th June - Full details |
|
|
The biggest programme fair of the year takes place on Saturday 4th June 2016 when the annual Premier Programme Fair is staged at London’s Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way WC1H 0DG 11am – 4pm.
Since the event moved the Royal National in 2010 the attendance has been a consistent 700/750 collectors which is by far the biggest fair attendance in the UK. The number of dealers exhibiting is also by far the biggest assembled this year. I would urge all forum members to make the effort to come along.
This year we have dealers occupying over 90 tables! As well as presenting their usual high quality stock and all this seasons big match programmes a number of dealers have taken extra space to bring along many thousands of additional programmes to sell at £1 each or less!
As well as adding to your collection and chatting/putting faces to the names of the dealers, the fair represents an excellent opportunity to meet fellow collectors and forum members for a chat/swop/drink etc… The hotel has a bar and there are numerous restaurants in the vicinity and at the nearby Euston/Kings Cross stations. How about forum members arranging a meeting at the fair?
I have listed the participating dealers so far below (in no particular order) with a brief stock summary. I have also included their business email addresses should anyone wish to make contact for particular requests.
North West Middlesex Programmes – A debut appearance for Lee who has been on the scene for 25 years working tirelessly for Hayes FC club shop. Now as a dealer in his own right he appears to be putting in the groundwork and is well on the way to establishing NWM programmes as a force in the hobby. [email protected],
John Dee Football Collectables – Northampton based John and Teresa are long established traders with a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the retail and auction sectors of football memorabilia [email protected]
Chelmer Programmes – Stockists of a wide variety of programmes. Particularly strong in East Anglia and Non League issues. [email protected]
D G Taylor – Lymington based Dorian is one of the few remaining ‘hard copy catalogue producing’ dealers in the business. Fine stock of vintage programmes covering all clubs though QPR, Bournemouth and Accrington Stanley a speciality! [email protected]
Martin Lane – Chelsea specialist and a selection of all other clubs and categories.
Steve Harding – Prominent Peterborough United collector and part-time dealer. Poshimp72 on the forum.
Michael Wylde – Long established collector / dealer from the West Midlands.
PM Publications – Founding Programme Monthly editor and co-organiser of this event John Litster offers his vast array of PM back issues. Stockist of bespoke programme binders, football history books and a selection of programmes from his huge archive. [email protected]
Soccer History – Editor Ian Nannestad offers the latest edition and also back issues of this high quality quarterly magazine devoted to the heritage of our national sport. [email protected]

footballprogrammes.com – represented by fair co-organisers Elaine and David Allen. Pick up your copies of all the end of season big match finals and Internationals and view our fine range of vintage programmes. Show specials include over 1,000 excellent condition 1960s programmes available at £2 each, over 500 European Competition programmes same condition, same price. Books, magazines, badges, bargain bundles, Non League… Something for everyone at this stand! Check out www.footballprogrammes.com and email any requirements for collection at the fair to [email protected]
Football Programme Outlet – Specialists in cut price programmes. Nothing on this stand is more than £1. Unsorted programmes from the 1960s onwards including all areas of collecting. Bound to be worth a rummage!
Barry Swash – West Midlands based Barry offers a wide array of vintage programmes and memorabilia from pre war to the 1960’s. [email protected]
AB Programmes – Ipswich Town scout Alan is a veteran fair attendee. Alan is a regular face on the auction scene too. Varied stock with Ipswich a particular speciality. [email protected]
Ellis Programmes – Romford based Ellis has had a stall at West Ham United and Romford market for many years. Stockist of all London clubs and big match programmes. [email protected]

After a thoroughly enjoyable Yorkshire Fair at Pudsey Civic Centre yesterday, I am now busy preparing for the 'annual big one', the Premier Fair at the Royal National Hotel this coming Saturday (11am-2m).
Although I'm strongest on West Country programmes, I try to bring a decent number of pre-1965 programmes for all League clubs, as well as a wide selection of Internationals, Cup Finals and Semis, Reserves, Scottish, Foreign and Non-League clubs' programmes.
I shall also be bringing some interesting items that I picked up at the Yorkshire Fair that I thought may be helpful for collectors attending the Premier Fair.
Any collectors with specific requests, please contact me on email [email protected] or phone 07927-519019. |

Thanks for the publicity (and kind words) Dave, much appreciated.
Been a busy day at the Berkhamsted Antiques & Collectors Fair today, and I'll be at the Great Southern Postcard & Paper Fair at the Tolworth Recreation Centre on Bank Holiday Monday should any collectors in South West London/Surrey be twiddling their thumbs tomorrow.
Will be bringing some key stock along on Saturday, Big Match, pre-60 Football League/pre-70 Non-League, Charles Buchan mags (also hope to have Soccer Star list completed this week), selection of replica shirts, late '70's Topps Cards, selection of books etc, in fact the usual mix of goodies. Have limited numbers of West Ham v. Manchester United (last at Upton Park) & Leicester v. Everton (commemorative PL Champions issue) amongst recent additions.
Please make contact (preferably no later than Thursday evening) if there any specific items you require bringing along/putting aside for you on Saturday.
All the best,
Lee _________________ Visit http://nwmfootball.com/ for programmes, books, DVDs, shirts & sportswear and other football collectables. Click here http://nwmfootball.com/nwm-diary/ to see which Programme Fairs and Antiques & Collectors' Fairs we will be attending. |

Looking forward to having a stall at this Saturday's Premier Programme Fair.
Will gladly check any members wants lists in advance who are attending or you can visit my website www.football-program.co.uk
If there is anything of interest please let me know & I will gladly bring them along on the day.
I have just taken delivery of a nice collection of Spurs homes & aways from the early 1960's including some nice early European aways against Gornik Zabrze from 1961/62 & OFK Belgrade from 1962/63 plus some Lilywhites supporters club magazines from the same era which have not been added to the website yet.

Going up to the fair to give bill Priddy a help on his stall and meet up with a lot of old friends. If any one needs any pompey home or away progs from last season let me know and if i have them I will bring them with me. I have a few team sheets if any one is interested. Still looking for a few pompey aways from late 40's. |

Went to the fair today.
A good turnout by the look it. No programmes for me, very little needed now and what was there, re reserves, I had.
However, I spent a while on Bill Priddy's stand, perusing his folders full of football cards and I picked up a few. Shame there weren't anymore that I needed!
Hope others went and found something they needed..... _________________ Not Forgotten; Allwright, Greechan, Hagan, Kennedy, Littler, Purver, Robotham, Saunders, Shields |

Really enjoyed the fair yesterday although I didn't pick up to much. Seemed well attended so I hope all the dealers had a good day. Nice touch by Elmo books with the blue ribbons regrading Ian Hands. He will be sorely missed. |

very good day yesterday from both a selling and buying point of view although the attendance was slightly down on last year. most collectors seemed happy with the selection of items for sale and it was good to put names to faces with people from the forum. another well organised event from dave allen and look forward to next years event |
