Good day to you all

I am in the process of going through a rather messy divorce and as a result I have taken the decision to split and sell some of my collection.

In the near future I will be listing programmes of various English and Scottish League, Cup and Friendlies.

I will also be selling European games of which I have a fair few, there are a lot of European Cup games as well as domestic league games, particularly the old Soviet Union and Germany.

I was wondering what the market is like for foreign programmes, be it league or cup

Sorry to hear that matey. I'd be happy to offer some advice on prices or may know some people looking for certain items (assuming your Spurs like me). I'd happily meet sometime as your not too far from me (Tonbridge).

I too had to sell off some of my prized items in order to end a divorce case and pay off my first wife. Any help I can offer then just ask, confidentiality guaranteed. Mark.

I'd just like to say thanks to all those that have replied so far offering help and support.

I am sorry to those who PM'd me, not got round to reading those mails yet but I will do shortly.

Please bear with me as I really need to list out what I have and this could take a while as I have many, many boxes scattered between 2 properties at the moment

Just a thought, but does your wife know the value of your collection? If not, then it may be better to hang onto it until after the divorce has gone through.

I like your way of thinking Karb, what she does't know wont hurt her. It takes years to put a collection like that together, why tear it apart if you don't have to.

She hasn't a clue on the value but to be perfectly honest I am getting hammered on solicitors fees and it think it may be an idea to thin out the collection. There is a lot of soul searching on this but when needs must..............

Problem is mate, if you sell, and that money appears in your account, she can claim half. If she has no idea, then it'd be best to hang on and sell it (if you need to) to pay off your bills when everything is finalised.

If you do have to sell now, try to find a cash buyer, and keep the money under your mattress. Do not, under any circumstances put it anywhere where there is a paper trail of it ever having existed.
