these don't turn up often but a specialist market
a pair can be expected to fetch about £1000-1200 to anybody who is interested in them
i expect a one off would be less than half but they are easy to confirm originality to an expert.I am not an expert by the way

This is where it gets difficult-after the game Peter can clearly be seen walking towards the players tunnel.He applauds the United fans then goes down the tunnel with both gloves on.
Obviously he may have come back out and thrown them into the crowd but if I was to spend such sums on a item I would need more then a produced certificate or say so no matter how much good faith the item was presented in.

The estimated prices i have given are not relevant to the specific game.
Items such as shirts and gloves and boots change hands at auction houses and a rough current valuation can be assumed using those sale prices.
As i stressed it is a narrow market and little can be assumed about the requirement of a particular item at a particular time
The owner of this glove has made himself a personal montage of the occasion which is nice for him.
If the item is genuine from that specific match,and he caught it personally then he is sure of the fact and has himself a souvenir for life.He doesn't need to print himself a certificate on his home computer.
If i owned it and i wanted to cash it in i would hope that Leicester City win the league and i could get a glove from his son and then make a frame of the two gloves side by side.
That would be a nice commercial item,in my opinion.
That however is not yet reality
