From the Indy a few days back, the former Brentford, Arsenal and Watford wing half with a League winners' gong and reputation as a practical joker. I wonder if anyone here has any of those to relate? Shame the obit doesn't. Still, always good to read about players of whom I know next to nothing.

RIP Arthur, keep those jokes going!

I think Arthur was well known for 'hoax telephone calls' but I have not had chance yet to see if any examples are recorded anywhere.
