Port Vale v Millwall 1950/51 Postponed. A sixteen page programme was printed for this game, as it was postponed Port Vale utilised the programme for the next home game on 23 March v Crystal Palace. Port Vale removed the centre pages showing the PV v Millwall line up and replaced it with PV v Crystal Palace line up. The original 12 pages included a welcome to Millwall. The club acknowledges using the Millwall programme for the Palace match in the replaced centre pages.
Hope this will be of some use to you

Thanks for the above info. I wasn't aware of this as I only have info for the abandonded (4/4) and the replayed (3/5) for this season.
I will now add the Palace issue to my possible wants.
If you can help locate any of the above or the 1/5/1952 issue please let me know.
Regards
Ian

As a matter of interest, and nothing to do with the Millwall game at all, but Port Vale v Palace on 23rd March was also postponed. It was then re-arranged to be played on 9th April but that game was abandoned after 60 minutes due to mud - with Vale leading 5-1. (Palace haven't ever been much good in mud, hence our poor home results this season!). The same programme was used for that game. Finally this game was re-arranged again for 26th April and it ended 2-2. I don't know if the same prog went out again or there was another issue - it's blank in my log book.

Re-arranged game played on 9 April, postponed programme of 23 March used + single sheet insert dated 9 April. Match played on 26 April, a single sheet programme was produced

This was taken about 1950 - they moved into the ground in 1950 so presumably this was their first winter there. When I visited there in 1976/7 I was amazed how big a stadium it was - they had a gate of 50,000 in 1960 for a cup game v Villa.
