Hello all

Still working through gaps in knowledge and came across this friendly played on a neutral ground on the 7th March 1981.

Does anyone know where the game was played and if a programme was issued?

Albion played Norwich at Wisbech in 1980/1 so it could have been played there.

Seems odd to arrange a neutral friendly in March, I don't remember 81 being too bad a winter.

Early winter of 1981 was one of the snowiest on record....

Game was played at Boston, birmingham won the game 2-0, I have no idea if a programme was issued tho..

I went to the game at Boston, no programme was issued and as the last poster says it was a 2-0 win for Brum. Attendance was around 2000, Jim Smith was The Blues manager and both sides were without a game after going out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round.
