Very kind words Kevin - thank you.
All are welcome to come and spend a day by the North Wales seaside, maybe try some of our bars, pubs and eateries, do a bit of shopping in our new 'multi-million pound retail experience' (shopping park), watch Prestatyn Town's increasingly futile battle to beat relegation from the Welsh Premier League, oh yeah, and come and see me in my first floor programme emporium. I'll put the kettle on! Diolch yn fawr pawb, Mark Thumbs Up

Got to agree with Kevin.

Top bloke is Mark and there's loads of interesting boxes full of programmes.

I always feel like I may have missed something when I leave his shop.

Well worth a visit and a day out in Prestatyn town centre.

Wasn't Prestatyn where some of the "Holiday On The Buses" movie was filmed?

This film did more for my home town than any other single event in it's history, which is sort of sad really! I was 10 when it was being made on location here and remember seeing the 'stars' wandering around town between takes looking stupifyingly bored. It was made by Hammer Films and some of my friends thought Stephen Lewis/Inspector Blakey was the guy who also played Dracula. The bit where Stan gets randy with some girl on the sofa, only to have his coitus interrupted by a bad tempered German Shepherd dog, was shot in a friend's parents' house. All good clean 70s fun...

In answer to a previous request, here's some pictures of my pride and joy - the pics are a couple of months old so several items have been sold or moved round but you get the gist of what it's about. Thanks for your interest, Mark.

Love it Bazza! From your previous comment re Prestatyn town centre I assume you've been here on a holiday from your West Midlands enclave and endured the same torpor the cast of HOTB had to suffer! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Wow!, where did you get that from?!

I've used the question for years to various football fans. "which footballer appeared on "On The Buses"? Hardly anyone knew the answer..... Smile

Prestatyn Town centre. Very Happy Stopped off there a few years back on my way to Llandudno to pick up a collection. The place was full of scousers and brummies chavving it out.
Have they improved the shopping centre ? its full of boarded up shops pound shops and charity shops.
I grabbed some greasy chips and when i returned to the parked car it was covered in seagull poo.

Here's that episode of On The Buses with Bob McNab in it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isL_zzhbJzU

Not, I hasten to add, one of the better episodes........but was it a non-league ground the match was shot at or just a public playing area?
