There is a very useful Forum online called Footy Mad, and it provides fans forums for clubs UK wide, league and non league. Most league clubs have one and an increasing number of non league as well. Once you've joined the site - it's free - you have access to a whole load of free advertising, right into the heart of the clubs.

As an aid to advertising it's excellent. Write out the details of the fair, paste them, scroll down the list of clubs - in alphabetical order - and once you've written the details of the first heading all you need to do for any subsequent ones is write the first letter in the heading and it automatically comes up. Copy your details, and hey presto.

Did over 20 clubs for the Accrington Stanley Fair and the Auchinleck Talbot Fair today and it took me 30 minutes in total.

Hi John, yes noticed you'd been busy on a lot of the Lancashire based teams and have to agree its a good way of getting the message over.

Likewise, with flickr, I posted a press photo I'd purchased from Pete's Picture palace on one of our forums and viewings went up by x25.

Given that on average I get about 1000 views per day, that was quite an increase
