Yes I sent John Litster an email tonight. The management committee met on Sunday to discuss the situation and I agreed to contact John once we had confirmation that the issues with the collectors mentioned in PM were resolved. |
I wouldnt recommend Northern Programme Club they still owe me a box of programmes since january (approx value £50) and after initial emails recvd from Jack, Tracey & Marie saying it was sent, would chase up etc no one bothered to reply after the last couple i sent so i gave that up as a lost cause. Didnt realise i could complain to someone |
Send me the details and I will sort it out! It isnt a problems for us to send a £50 box of programmes for goodness sake. Have you wrote to us or sent an email? I have checked our sales records and there is has been no £50 box sold - so, I think you really do need to contact me (Gary Wilson, Chairman) with the ful details. |

I think you find they keep adding names to there comittee yet there are only 2 or 3 people running this they are all friendly to start with then once they have your money as there ebay account shows, they will try every trick in the book not to give you what you ordered and make excuise after excuse just to keep your money in the hope that you will go away DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THEM OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THEM YOU WILL ONLY LOSE MONEY |
A strange post as I have checked out the sales records and membership register and for someone who claims their location is Bedlington, we have no members listed or customers (2,094) from that town! As for anyone losing money well the facts are there for all to see, even before we were made aware of the issues in the ebay shop customers had been refunded as neither David or Maria had access to the Paypal account and the customers affected all received refunds through the Paypal / Ebay refund system! Maybe the author joins forums under various names and locations just as someone we dealt with who has various email accounts and has registered with a programme website as a seller under three different names!
As for adding new committee members, well the AGM was in June and three new management committee members replaced two that left the organisation with our numbers being increased by one, that is normal or am I wrong here?
I am fully aware that there have been problems between March and May and I am trying to address these as I have previously mentioned in previous posts and in the Members' Magazine (Issue 14). I will also update members in issue 15, so I am not shirking any issue, all I am saying is that I am one of the three new management committee members who has joined the ranks, and have the task of dealing with queries until our Secretary Jack Mitton returns next week. The management committee will then meet asap with Jack present and will decide what to do for the future.
Gary Wilson, Chairman. |
Does that mean ill be getting my money back or the box finally delivered which porobaly has quite a few layers of dust on it ?? |
Get the details to me and I will sort it out for you. I have posted a reply to your previous post as there is no record of any £50 box being sold, so I need your payment details, how you paid etc, and contact details. - Thanks |

May I make a point of fact here? After our enquiry into what the events and problems were with the NPC ebay shop, the issue was that orders were packed but in many cases not sent. Why either David Foster (Previous Chairman) or Maria Allan (his partner) would not dispach these orders is beyond us as they got no financial gain and had no access to the Paypal account. ALL customers affected by this were REFUNDED their payments via the ebay/paypal system. SO NO CUSTOMER LOST MONEY or was "RIPPED OFF". I accept that this is not the way to do business and its my aim to ensure that this situation never happens again AND IT WON'T! So I appeal to everyone reading this post, if you have an outstanding issue with the NPC please get in touch and give me the details, I will sort it out for you ASAP!!!! |

It appears that you only registered on here to have a dig at this organisation, now you're saying you have never been a customer of theirs.
Perhaps you want to consider sorting out your differences in private rather than continually sniping on a public forum? _________________ https://www.flickr.com/photos/footballprogrammes/albums |

You said you were not a customer of theirs, so how do you know if they are trustworthy or not? _________________ https://www.flickr.com/photos/footballprogrammes/albums |

The customer hasn't lost £50, this matter has been resolved and the box which is booked on a next day delivery will contain over £350 worth of programmes! I think that's pretty decent compensation.
I promised on this forum that I would sort out every outstanding issue from the mis-guided actions of two individuals who are no longer involved with the club, and as far as I am aware I have done so, and more! I am intriqued to know why you registered and your first posts were to have a dig at us. Or maybe this is another of the assortment of user and screen names in your ID book! |

Well that last post is utter lies as there are none of our committee members who "are out drinking" in the area that you are supposed to be from! In fact you will have to travel quite some distance to socialise with any of them so you are now posting utter bollocks! Do you work at being an arsehole or does it just come natural to you? |

That would mean disclosing their identity and we can't have that now can we? |

Actually this thread has got me thinking. When shite football teams , who never win anything on the pitch , suddenly win Programme of the month , Groundsman of the year, best pies in the league, etc. the clubs make a big deal over it to disguise the fact that really they are quite a shit team. It gives the fans some desperately needed pride .
" We sell by far the best pies , the world has ever seen ".
Do Chelsea's , Manchester's and the like care about such things ? Of course not , they to busy winning trophies. |

I've seen a few of these "awards" mentioned over the last few years in programmes, a couple seem to be the brainchild of dealers wanting to make a name for themselves. Fair enough, a nice wee idea to get your name out there and promote your business, and programme editors love this stuff.
Just thought that this Northern Programme Club must have members if it's a "club", just seems odd. _________________ https://www.flickr.com/photos/footballprogrammes/albums |
