In less time than it would have taken you to write and post this, I just typed in "Sheffield Wednesday brass token" and the lot underneath came up! Probably a forerunner of the season tickets I would imagine. As the club didn't form until 1867, and the one illustrated below is from the 1860's, they couldn't have used them before 1867?
