This one's slightly different.
I imagine there'll be many variants, especially with so many sponsors, they could all do their own "official" guide.

end of day the cheapest the world cup 2006 programmes go for online are about 5 quid so would not mind paying say £10 for one to get it at the time.

I have finaly found something out about this years programme, thanks to an email from Programmes Direct.

There is an overall tornament brochure which they are selling at £8.95 plus p and p.

There are also three programmes, group stages, knockout stages and final. These can only be bought in SA until the final has been played.

Programmes direct and I am sure many others are hoping to bring some back to sell.

No doubt there will be a mad rush on ebay, but my advice would be to wait and see what price the dealers are doing them for.

Info from a friend who has been at games already.

Official programme is 70 rand which is about £6. He didn't see anybody else with it.

No individual match programmes just colour press teamsheets.

Info on 3 different issues may be based on 2006 rather than actual info.

You can of course print your own teamsheets from the FIFA site.

England v USA here

http://www.fifa.com/mm/documen.....fstart.pdf

or you can buy on ebay from a Dutch guy who has printed his own ebay programme which is already moving up nicely.

There were no pirates seen in Rustenburg according to my source.

Why it could not get a world wide realise I dont know!

Look forward to getting the programme now.

From what I heard from someone at the groups games, there was a programme entitled "Group Stage" or something like that, so that suggests there will be one for each round?

See my earlier post. One of the dealers I use says that there will be three just like Germany 2006.

I normally just get the first round one.

Dan - it took me a little bit of hunting but they are on each match page, in the bottom right hand corner - under match documents.

Nice little collection there, for free. Some good docs and some interesting stuff, the "Heat Map" is particularly interesting.

is there anyway of paying for these through paypal as i dont have credit card or know anyone who can help ?

if not would anyone on here be willing to buy the group stage programme for me and knockout £20 including postage , while they are buying theres , i would send £20 as a gift via paypal right away

and then send a further £5 for the items to be posted too me!

would save me from having to shell out double this through ebay or a dealers site !
