does any1 know which games are the following numbers please

60-61 7,8,13,21,23
61-62 12,23

Morning Dangerman,
A reasonable query / question which I will try and help you with.

1960-1961
7 v Liverpool Youth dated 08/10
8 v Real Madrid dated 13/10
13 v Bradford City Youth dated 14/11
21 v Sheffield Wednesday dated 01/02
23 v Sunderland Youth dated 08/02

1961-192
12 v Real Madrid 13/12
23 v Liverpool v Preston North End dated 26/02

I dont collect man Utd programmes myselF ( theres only one United for me) so can not advise you on the rarity or otherwise of thesse seven programmes but I am guessing they are among the harder to obtain from the two seasons in question. No doubt the many MUFC experts on here can advise you .

how come ayrunitedcollector who does not collect manu programmes happens to know such detail as to which prog number relates to which match from matches in early 60s ?????????? surely only a manu collector would really know that kind of detail..............unless ayrunitedcollector and dangerman were in fact the same person !!!!!!!!

Dont be silly. this sort of information is readilly avaliable in many publications.

I have been collecting football programmes for over forty years and have accumualted a lot of facts and figures on programme issues/non issues , to the extent that I might even be able to help with a query on your club if you care to ask.

For what its worth I am not 'Dangerman' in disguise. It may suprise you that even a little club like Ayr United, with no hope of ever competing in the Champions League, have more than one person interested in collecting their programmes.
