Although I remain a newcomer to this site, it has been interesting to note the conversation and banter on here which to the uninitiated like me is proving to be interesting to say the least!
Particularly when many of you are surprised at the price certain programmes sell for, invariably on EBAY.
Whilst in comparison to many of you my programme collection is all over the place in term of content, I harbor thought that one or two little gems lurk within its numbers, but who knows!
Several of you have been in contact over some of the programmes I have and have made offers, my dilemma is whether I am ready to sell or not.
There is perhaps little doubt in my mind that my collection will go sooner rather than later, the question is how?
Would in your opinions it be better to EBAY items, send it all to auction or find private buyers?
Which though of what I have might be the gem or gems?
In your opinion would any of the following rate a gem?

Aberdeen v Glenavon Friendly 5/2/49 Very clean and tidy.
Brechin v Celtic 1st Rd Cup 28/1/50 Vertical c/fold but clean and tidy.
Caledonian v Q of TS 1st Rd Cup 28/1/50 Flimsy, marks around edges.
Chester v Goole 1st Rd Cup 1949/50 Slightly dog eared at top edge.
Barrow v Swansea 3rd Rd Cup 9/1/54 No staple, c/fold but tidy.
Chesterfield v Yeovil 3rd Rd Cup 7/1/50 Very tidy.

Six randomly selected programmes, but where would I get best price for each whatever their best price is?

I guess it depends who logs onto ebay. If nobody who wants those programs logs on that week, you'll probably end up with 99p. If two people who want it log on you might get £99.
