sheffield united/wednesday reserves 1925/26

i have just listed on ebay some reserve programmes from 1925/26
i am not sure what either of them are and any help would be appreciated
1-Sheffield Wednesday reserves v Doncaster Rovers reserves played at Branhall Lane on 15/3/1926
2-Sheffield United reserves v Barnsley reserves-W.C. Replay on 10/12/1925

Afternoon Raymond,

I would hazard a guess that they are both Wharncliffe Charity Cup games, which was a Sheffield reserve team competition. It was fairly common for the final to be played at the Lane which may account for the Wendys/Donny fixture.

I'd be grateful if you'd send a scan of the programmes if it isn't too much trouble so I can add them to my Sheffield United site, and possibly some of the others you've got on ebay. As before all pictures and your site tagged.

between the wars will be coming 1919/20,1920/21,1921/22,1925/26,1926/27,1927/28,1928/29,1929/30,1930/31,1934/35,1935/36 and 1937/38
i will be showing front covers and team line ups but if you want anything else just shout.
i already have the 1908/09 Fa cup semi final(Manchester United v Newcastle United) and 1925/26 (Manchester United v Manchester City) at Bramall Lane loaded up for your information
