In these credit crunch times, all but one Premier League club has opted not to raise the season ticket price for 2009/10.

The exception ?

Manchester United.

My ticket for next season is £430 and the bairn's is only £19 !

Under 16's season tickets are £19 when bought with an adult one.

Hearts have made U12 prices £19 this year.

My ticket has went from £450+ last season to <£300 this season Very Happy

The block category (previously Gold) was reduced to a Silver section so that had a lot to do with it.

The only price that went up was Student tickets I believe, only £20-£30 though.

Hearts' season ticket numbers are up this year but a lot of that is down to how well the team is playing.

Under 21 Season Ticket in the Lower Gwladys Street at Goodison Park last season was around £300 I think.

As I will be 22 in October I no longer qualify for an under 21 season ticket so I now have to get an adult one. That will set me back £487 Sad

Not bad compared to Chelsea's £1000+ season tickets.

I won't be able to afford that in one lump sum though and we don't offer a direct debit scheme either so I'm going to leave getting one this season and just get a half-season ticket at Christmas instead.

Mine will be same as last year, which is £410, but like you Barrett, I can't afford that, so for the first time in memory, I won't be getting one.

You might upset Mick with that comment as they are in the Championship!

Ours was £366 behind the goal but as we got relegated we are all owed £73 back, although we are standing by for a begging letter asking if they can keep it. They are not getting my excess as I will be doing more away games than I had hoped next season!

Ours are all £400, although it'll be £300 for me as a student.

They were put up last year after promotion and are staying the same next season, although matchday prices are up, and there will now be category A games as well, which will be £30 for away fans. To be honest though if other teams (Charlton, Birmingham) are charing us £30 then they should be paying the same here.

Mines one of the dearer seats in the ground- used to sit in A block but thats about £60 dearer. Could sit in the Trent End and pay a lot loss, but its more for famillies, so there's more atmosphere on the moon!!

£347 this year would have been £355 but they have took vat off.
If it had been £355 that would have bee 3 years on the trot it hasnt gone up.

I get mine for £380 as a Senior Citizen ,and you know what ,I get to see a trophy(sometimes two) quite regularly,and very good football too.Before I am accused of being arrogant,just stating a fact ,and since I started watching United in 1954 I am pleased to say I have seen quite a few trophies,and surely most fans want to see that happen,ie Win a trophy?At £380 how can I complain ? Out of all the chelsea season tickets for adults in the 8 stands available only one is over £1000. The rest range from £520-£835 which is a similar range to man utd.

Ours go from £300 (£213.75) to £465 (£394.25) for adults.
And £120 (£120) to £360 (294.50)
Price in brackets is the early bird price.

In the home end which still allows us the pleasure of standing it costs £300 (£251.75) and £140 (£109.25)

Ours for adults start at £318 and go up to £575, although we do special deals for OAP's / Students / U-16's and U8's. Our prices haven't gone up even though we are now in a HIGHER division Easy

ps It's also not true despite rumours that Jack Hobbs and David Martin, only came on loan from Liverpool for the season so they could win a medal, something no other Liverpool player has managed this season Very Happy

Well at least you good people know how much your tickets are going to cost. Grimsby Town are still wrestling with that particular problem! I mean how difficult is it to decide how much to charge to watch the team that the records show were the second worst team in English League football last season.
At best I think we can hope for a freeze. This will mean £285.00. I'm not sure they dare increase prices in recession hit East coast former internationally renowned fishing ports.....

Just received my renewal for 09/10, bearing in mind it's for 19 league and 7 cup games and also 3 extra games from this season £1,131.25
And Wenger says there's no money for players?
Can't complain too much though, 2 semi finals and more Champions League to come.

£1,135 for a season ticket, and it's not worth complaining about? You're guaranteed your 19 home league games, where do you get the other 7 cup games from? Nothing's guaranteed - first round away defeats in the League and F.A.Cup would mean nothing at the Emirates. I also suppose that being eliminated in the preliminary round of the Champion's League would also mean only one home game there as well. So, the possibility as I see it, could be that you're paying over £1100, for only 20 GUARANTEED games, and the kick off times are all subject to the whims of that ****ing Oz scumbag, Murdoch. That, to me, means £55 per guaranteed game, and anyhting else is a bonus.

That's the love of the game and for my team. You don't know what you'll get. I've seen some amazing football, got one of the best seats in the stadium and seen some top teams play.
I've never supported Arsenal for trophies,managers or players, but for the team itself.
Yes we could be knocked out from all competitions in the first game and then get relegated, no-ones immune from failure, but just being there,being part of something that happened more than a hundred years ago, will be going long after my death, to witness that last minute header by Henry to beat Man Utd, the 4-4 against Spurs and that unbelieveable goal by Eduado this season.
Maybe it's me, but it's worth it!

As a season-ticket holder at Everton I don't think I can complain about the pricing policy.

I have 1 adult and 1 youth (16-21) season ticket. The renewal price was - if I remember correctly - £738 (with discount for online and early bird). This works out at just under £39 a game for 2. Since I rarely bother with away games (too expensive, travel (except I spose the Lancashire games which might be worth doing) and the money basically goes to the opponents as opposed to your own club) I don't think this is terrible, although I recognise the high price to watch football generally, in London in particular and relative to when I was much younger (£5-6 typically 20 years ago) and to the individual match ticket prices for these seats (circa £30 plus a bit more for the premium games). So I think Everton are ok regarding season ticket prices compared to a lot of the competition. If I went in the Main Stand it would go up around £150 total so £900+.

I also thought long and hard about buying a ticket for Tranmere because - this being their 125th Anniversary - they offered EVERYONE a season ticket for next year for £125 if they could get 7,000 signed up. I'd only be able to make about half the games (Everton game clashes) but for around £5.50 a game and the opportunity to hand it around the family it looked a good deal.
