Really depends on what they are, the dates involved.

If the staples are prone to rust, and this is true from a manufacturing point of few not always age, then normal plastic folders could increase the rust activity.

If you don't intend looking at them at often then just placed in a box and tape around the edges is best.

If you do intend looking at them then you should consider acid free folders. But I'm perhaps one of the few who doesn't really see that sort of expenditure worthy on 99% of the programmes.

Keep them dry and as warm as normal ie. not the shed Laughing

Thanks for the reply, I do intend to look at them, some of the programmes go back as far as late 40's/early 50's as it stands I am putting them into plastic document wallets, numbering them and putting them on a spreadsheet so I know what I have and what I don't, they are currently being stored in a cupboard, but the more recent West Bromwich Albion ones I am storing on a shelf because across the season the spine makes up of a picture.

Didn't notice you were a fellow baggie, yes I've just started collecting this year book with the intention of creating a big art wall with the all in a big square.

Might be worth you taking an image of each one and keeping the data disc safe. Also lay something across the top of the programme on the shelf to stop the dust gathering on them.

If you come across any old albion player testimonials let me know as it's the one type I now really collect but not found any for a few years.
