Presume gfc means he supports Gillingham? They beat Rochdale in the semis, Bury lost to Shrewsbury. Anyway, the Gills have won.

Maybe for the neutrals!!!!

I've never had such a roller-coaster of emotions like that game, I was physically and mentally knackered after it!

What a day, british legion club Notting Hill had record takings for Saturday Morning, didn't think we'd ever score, probably wasn't a corner but we created far more than Shrewsbury and but for their keeper we could have been 2 or 3 up.
Can't wait for next season so many closer away games, only got to 7 this season but southern teams probably account for half of league 1.

Congrats Paul,

League 1 does seem a modern version of the division 3 south. Good for me being a Leeds fan based in Kent...

Several away days

Gills
Orient
Southampton
Brentford
Wycombe
MK Dons
Charlton
Norwich
Colchester
Millwall ??????

possibly a few I have missed.

See you at Priestfield, probably early August!

Paul there were gills fans walking through the streets of Rainham from the train station to their homes around 8/8:30 last night waving flags singing (still) and in party mood, great to see Smile

As you say deserved the win, if only some of the fans who went yesterday go on a more regular basis

Congrats to Gills on your promotion! I watched the game with a Shrewsbury fan, he missed the goal as he was getting the drinks in for extra time by then. You'd think we'd have learned from last year and the Carlisle/Leeds semi, but we didn't!

No offense to any Sheffield United fans (robbo!) but I hope Burnley win tomorrow.

Swindon, Southend, Bristol Rovers, Yeovil, Brighton Exeter and Walsall are the other southern teams in L1 by the way, so there's 17 from Birmingham and further south!! Hell of a lot of travelling for Carlisle & Hartlepool in particular.

We managed to lose Birmingham, Wolves and Southampton (our 4th, 5th and 6th closest games this season) and replace them with Newcastle and Boro Sad

Geddon, just wait until you get to your seat at St James Park. It's sooo high up and you feel almost vertical!
