Does Mr. Lister not list any adverts on the internet any more ??? as the only programmes listed for sale are HIS OWN .....and they are all just run of the mill stuff, not really of interest to anyone except a new collector i would have thought >????? I have in the past picked one or two programmes up from adverts on the internet .......... ???? |

2 sites running at the moment.
www.programmemonthly.co.uk which was the old web site and now seems to be selling Lister's spares off.
Then there is;
www.programmemonthly.com which is part of the new direction that programme monthly has undertaken in the last couple of months. There is an online classified section to this one.
Hope that helps

Sorry, cant help there... Did anyone spot any new contributors recently? |
We contacted them some weeks suggesting we could distribute them and this would allow people to pay with other option rather then paypal gifts.
Sorry to say we had no reply yet.
Perhaps the costs just to tight. |

Too Right!
And i can even recall me saying it had descended into a CRAPPY BROADSHEET as well which in my opion it had, with dozens of pages of John's own items he was selling and John's own thoughts-some of which were good and some were dated, still he knew he had to make changes for it to survive and he has now moved aside and is letting new blood come in to run the show and early days but I hear good things behind the scenes, you cannot change it all overnight as it had stagnated for many years-too many subscribers had long departed, but it seems that some are returning after seeing how the format is changing, i think it will continue to evolve and i will always back anything when I hear those few little words,"Many Thanks for your efforts" or similar which is not what used to happen. Anyway a bit too early in the morning for a little Pop Tynie so I will settle for a cup of tea. Bye Now Scottish Humour dont you just love it! hahaha |

Have just finished my second in a series on Club Handbooks, for the October edition. Like Leslie, I too had become disillusioned with PM - as had many others. Indeed, it's over 8 years since I cancelled my subscription to it.
Doesn't mean that it always has to be thus, and I contacted one of the editors who I was a mature student with at Oxford in the mid 80's to chew the fat a bit. Arranged to provide something for him, and the best of luck to them...and have resubscribed as the hobby does need a strong mouthpiece. Long may it continue....... |

Good to see more contributors to the magazine
I’m not entirely convinced as of yet, although I guess it will take time to implement their planned changes (or maybe they don’t have that many changes to make??). The apparent demise of the Scottish news page is a disappointment.
I was astonished at how many people in their survey said they were against the use of colour in the magazine if it meant a price rise (75%?), to me that is the most obvious “next step” for the magazine to take. In the age of the internet where more and more websites are popping up devoted to club and international programmes, any magazine not adopting colour is not moving with the times. Black and white is yesterdays colour, in fact is was last months.
Here’s hoping they ignore that particular piece of feedback, I want to see a colour mugshot of Leslie in a future edition _________________ https://www.flickr.com/photos/footballprogrammes/albums |
