am staying in durham next week and going to the newcastle v arsenal game on the saturday. Does anyone know if there is an easy public transport way of getting from durham to the ground ? alternatively tips on parking.

Finally any programme/memorabilia shops in the area ?

Try "The Back Page" 56 St Andrews Street, I am told they have excellent selection of programmes.

Not far from the station at all, just follow the crowd ( and end up in a chip shop ) Laughing . I'm interested in the programme shop. What is their stock ? Mainly Newcastle or do they have a wide range of North East clubs ?

Gooner, there's a programme shop in Middlesbrough about 30-45 mins in a car from Durham. A good sat-nav will get you there in no time.

PM me if you want further details. Thumbs Up
