Carlisle United programme 2011 - 2012

Following on from last years £1 16 or 20 page programme the club are now running with a £2 48 pager this year (they had planned to go back to £3 but have since changed their mind again!)

To encourage buyers there will be two vouchers in - one for £1 off your first drink in bar before kick-off and another when you have 5 from consecutive fixtures will give you £5 off in the shop.

It still won't sell though!

I'm not trying to be funny here or pick an argument, but maybe you should give it a bit time before you judge things. I remember the Carlisle programmes from the mid-late seventies and they were very poor. The club (like a lot of others) have had it tough of late, something is better than nothing at all. Ask the Arbroath and Stirling Albion collectors which they would prefer. The club did a superb Centenary Edition last season against Newcastle United, I know the standard programme for the season was sacrificed in favour of the club magazine, but at least they seem to be moving back in the right direction.

I'm not judging on the quality (how can I when I haven't seen it) what I meant by my statement is that it won't matter how good or bad the programme is, the Carlisle support are not interested in programmes.

When we had the award winner one of a few years ago we still didn't sell more than a 500 a game bar the visit of Leeds United.
