Manchester City have confirmed the City of Manchester Stadium will be renamed the Etihad Stadium after signing a 10-year deal with the airline.

I know i was a little sleepy this morning but i'm sure i read the sponsorship figure was around the £120million mark, that is just crazy, although to be fair they'll probably offer it all to Tevez in wages for the next two years..

Technically a better translation would translate it to 'unity' or 'union'. Although not a million miles away from the word United, it isn't - the press just had to jump on something that was being wrongly said on twitter.

Using this concept maybe we should now be calling the red half of the city 'Manchester Union' Laughing
