can anybody throw any light on a programme i have its from Berlin played on the 5th Aug 1972 and its Berlin v Manchester United the 75th year aniversary of ball games in Berlin i suppose.

Its in good condition the only markes in the programme is where the teams are laid out in the centre by the name of each player from both teams there is a tick and both teams are in English .

the remaider of the programme is as you would expect in German . 18 pages inside the front and rear cover

. if anybody knows about this match and what it it worth if anything let me know

Thanks

Berlin Amateur X1 v Manchester United Youth X1 Crops up quite regularly and is neither scarce nor rare.

Slightly misleading information Leslie!

In my opinion it is not overly scarce but does indeed go for between £50-£80 which hardly makes it your run of the mill programme, if its for sale PM me the condition and asking price please? Cheers.

Not at all. Original question was what actually is it which i answered and what is the value which i chose not to state as in my opinion it is neither rare or scarce, and to suggest that i was saying it was run of the mill is incorrect. I was not "downgrading it" to the owner so that he would think it notworth too much so i could buy it, it is my opinion regarding it's availability in the market place, the last copy i purchased was complete with match ticket 3-4 years ago from memory around £35. When an item does show up quite regularly as this one does then to reiterate in my opion it is neither scarce or rare, you may not as yet have one but a great number of collectors who over the years were looking for this particular item i would say now do have it already perhaps, so to end the conversation i do not think that i am misleading anyone at all, the owner has said thanks for the info and perhaps you are making just too much out of nothing, so go ahead and purchase it, i do not know why you posted, surely it would have been better to write to the owner with a PM looking to make a deal than attempting to make me look like i was attempting to show the item disrespect and down grade it-why? i have no ulterior motive-i do not require it any longer as i have had a copy since the 1970's.
