Anybody know anything about them.

Bought quite a few for relatively cheap I hope. Includes some fotball ones, but around 18 full sets in total from the 20's and 30's.

Best ways to move them on, are they better in sets or in albums etc etc.

Just general info appreciated.

Quite a broad thread really

Loose cards will sell for more (and are easier to sell) than sets that have been stuck into an album.

This is similar for football stickers. Although I expect 95% of people will stick them in, its the loose stickers that are easier to sell to help people complete their collections. Once it's stuck in, then that's it.

Cheers Matt.

The majority are in albums, but several sets of loose as well, so hopefully get my initial out lay back at least.

Been looking at some of the card web sites and they price as full sets, which then makes you think that albums would be a good thing. Hey ho, you live and learn.

When I first started collecting, I wanted complete albums. Since I've grown up and become more serious though, I've prefered to buy an empty album and loose full set.

Some people just collect themes - myself anything to do with Millwall (hint hint!).

Some cards are very rare and individual prices can be found in Murray's catologue (use it as a guide only!).

Also Paul Clarkson has a website dealing in cards only - a good research tool: http://pclarkson.co.uk/default.aspx
