Maybe it's due to the wonderful condition.

Just how good is it when described as

"God"

A very strange one if the bids were genuine, I'm certainly not aware of any particular rarity value for it, I'd have thought it could be picked up from a dealer for a few quid at most.

If it's from the 95/95 season it must be an ultra rare one Laughing

i sent the winning bidder a message via e-bay asking him why the value was so high, he reckons the programme is scarce due to the very low attendance.

And I am forever hearing that Man City have the best fans in England Laughing Laughing

I take it this is for 94/5 - premiership attendance of 5268!

Yes those well supported Dons couldnt even fill the Arthur Wait stand with that paltry attendance.

The e-bay listing says 95/96 for which the attendance was over 11,000. The previous season was a midweek night match IIRC.

I hadn't realised low attendance = high price, I must go and hunt out some NW Counties League programmes where the attendance was in double figures! Laughing

It doesn't take a genious to work out why attendances were low at Selhurst Park for Wimbledon games......

I think I was at the lowest ever Premiership attendance game, Wimbledon v Everton, just over 3,000?

No idea why this item is so sought after.

look at Arsenal vs Leeds, 65/6, that was the lowest post war attendance at Highbury, that programme goes for silly money, although I do have that programme, I haven't come across it too many times.

That said, the price paid for the Wimbledon v City prog was ridiculous
