Wenger will still play Bendtner up front though mate Very Happy

Personally i'd go for Arshavin and Eduardo, think they could be potent the way the gooners play

Had i been an Arsenal fan i would have Driving him anywhere to get rid of him,i remember a couple of seasons ago hearing how poor Arsenal were when things got physical, then ade wotsit smashed his way through a lot of defences and scored goals for fun, then after being a success he wanted loads of money and football came second, even at the death of this transfer he was still looking for another club to give him more, getting rid of this clown is the best thing for Arsenal and unless he has a massive change in his attitude i fear Man City will waste a lot of money.

£25m is an absurd amount of money for him, but I guess we are talking about Man City here.

ah! the season he was scoring goals for fun, i remember it well,
the 6 goals he scored against a derby side that was relegated for having the worst defence in the universe and also when he was in the team he was our number one penalty taker, so, all in all he scored about 11 goals from open play. but as you say man city will regret the day they paid over and above for this mercenary arsewipe. It did pain me to priase Eduardo and Arshavin in my earlier post and had to have a sit down after that.

But the best adeybayor and Bendtner incident was at the Temple of football that is White Hart Lane, when they proved beyond all doubts that football players fight like fairies, when they had a little dust up on the pitch, cracking entertainment for us spurs fans Very Happy

imagine the scene 65,000 arsenal fans going mad inside and 65,000 arsenal fans outside, and ray kennedy leaping like a salmon above the spurs defence and inserting the ball into the top right hand corner to take the trophy a mile and a half away to a land that had forgotten what glory was.....and then fast forward to the night when we allowed a bunch of misfits to trounce us......wenger might treat this cup like the mickey mouse cup but to us diehards, it is like 'surrender in the face of the enemy'....and that score cannot be erased from the history books Mad

i wondered when we was going to get a city point of view Laughing
forget about the mickey mouse cup and just counting the important games, how often did he come up trumps against the big boys?......one on one with a keeper henry would net 99% of the time, whydebuyyou would cock-up 99% of the time.my granny could have scored half the goals he scored and she's dead. before city bought him, even before we all knew he was being sold(look at some of my old posts)i said he was crap. do you want a piece of my 50p action mark? Nod ......i still say he wont score double figures in the premier from open play Thumbs Up .....can't wait to see mark hughe's starting line-up come the new season Shocked

Addafewmillion speaks his mind...

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5450789,00.html

Emmanuel Asafewquid claims Arsenal sold him to Manchester City because they needed the money.

The Togo international completed his £25million move to City last weekend after signing a five-year contract.

Adachangeofmind admits it was a difficult decision leaving Arsenal, but ultimately opted for a new challenge.

The 25-year-old has denied ever asking for a transfer, stating last summer when he was heavily linked with a move to AC Milan that he told manager Arsene Wenger that he wanted to stay.

Adenotherstory claims it was Wenger's decision to accept City's bid, although he has denied the relationship between the pair has now been fractured.

"When I came back from holiday, I landed on July 13 and my agent told me I was going to speak with the club," he told The Sun.

"When I did he told me they had come to an agreement with another club.

"It was a difficult decision to make. But I went away and thought now is the time for another challenge. It took about a week to sort my bank details out.

"[Wenger] didn't really say why they wanted to sell me, but I found out that they needed the money and someone had to leave - that was me.

"Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger put me where I am today but he cannot stand up and say last summer I told him I wanted to leave.

"I told him I wanted to stay. I don't think our relationship is broken. I think they need the money and need to sell someone.

"They chose me and they got their money. I hope they spend it quite well and go forward. I sent them my regards.

"Now I have left Arsenal that is all behind me. It's finished. I was very happy there, they made me what I am today.

"But I am a Manchester City player and I have to focus on what I can do at this club."

While Adeanothercontract thoroughly enjoyed his time at Arsenal he has conceded fans' reaction to his departure has left a sour taste in his mouth.

He is disappointed his 30-goal season seems to have been forgotten by the Gunners faithful.

Adenewcar admits he has increased his earnings by moving clubs, although he insists the move is not all about the money.

"The way the fans behaved towards me was not nice at all," he continued.

"I can't understand why they were after me. I did my best for them and I was very happy there.

"I scored 30 goals in a season - it's not my fault that Milan, Barcelona or Real Madrid wanted to sign me.

"I know a lot of people will say 'He's gone for the money'. But I would like to see one Arsenal fan who worked somewhere for £10 and was offered work elsewhere for £30 to say they would refuse.

"Yes, they offered me a very fine contract and I have signed it. Now it's about what I can achieve as a footballer.

"I come from a very poor city and country. I have a lot of ambition. I've had a career, but I only ever think about going up."
