Has anyone browsed an eBay site from a different country?

If you go down to the bottom of the main homepage, you'll see many different countries, click on one your team has perhaps played in either recently or in Europe, search your team's name and see what happens.

The only reason I'm saying is another Hearts supporter I know of, went onto the American eBay, he found a programme from Hearts US tour from decades ago, he paid about 10% of it's actual value.

I'm sure we'd all like to know if anyone finds any bargains or rare programmes, so share your finds here. I also would like to know if there is a big difference in the price of programmes sold from outwith the UK.

I registered when on holiday over there. I'd discovered a fantastic sports museum in an old army barracks about 10 kilometers outside Gothenburg. The curator showed me the site - it wasn't ebay then but their own Swedish site - and signed me up to it. He's a big IFK Gothenburg fan, and also Manchester United - had to be, living all that distance away - and he showed me around the museum, and it was absolutely gobsmackingly amazing. Lots of boxing, cycling, winter olympics, athletics memorabilia on first floor, and all the football stuff on the top floor. Sweden World Cup memorabilia was an enormous part of the collection, as was the 1948 Olympics when they got to the Final - they had shirts and medals on display, lots of Swedish professional and amateur football memorabilia on display.
Then I got taken into the library - absolutely fantastic, and then the reading room, where there was cupboard after cupboard after cupboard stuffed full to the rafters with football programmes, tickets, going back to before the war. Rarities involving British teams that never ever turn up in this country.
I was able to help with some items they needed for the museum - they didn't have a Dunfermline vs Orgryte programme for instance from the 60's Inter Cities Fairs Cup, and a few others. In return I was given some 1958 World Cup pin badges and a couple of programmes from their excess stock that they had doubles of.
What a place - and hardly anyone ever visits it, yet they have a full time curator and other staff as well. If anyone is planning a trip to Gothenburg at any time, let me know and I'll give you details of it's whereabouts.
Haven't used the Swedish site for a few years now, but you can always pick stuff up from the 58 World Cup a lot cheaper than you can on ebay over here. Worth persevering with registering.
