Hi

I have 2 spare copies of the double programme for the Carling Nations Cup (Ireland v Wales last night and N Ireland v Scotland tonight). A5 size. Cover price is €5 so it is €5 + €1 for postage (or sterling conversion)

Mark

Incidentally the Irish FA runs football in Northern Ireland, the Football Association of Ireland runs football in the Republic.

Not that contacting the FAI will do you any good!!!

I always seem to make a mess of the postage and look for too little but I always feel the lads in Britain don't believe me when I tell them how much it costs too post stuff.

Anyone looking for team sheets could email [email protected] and I'm sure they would pass on the request to whoever looks after it.

The sheets handed out to journalists where printed team sheets as opposed to copies of the hand written ones.

All the sheets I saw where printed, but only photocopies. Did you get something a bit better Mark?

I’m also looking for a team sheet for the Scotland v NI game. I was already running late (blame the Guinness) and managed to miss kick-off so didn’t have time to find the main entrance to see if I could get any!

Just got the printed one that was handed out to journalists Dodge.

In my earlier post, I was talking about the old-style hand written team sheets that are handed in to the ref. In the old days a photocopy of this was handed out to journalists. Now, it is mostly a print out of a microsoft word document that is given to reporters - and a photocopy can look like an original

I realise all that.

I'm just saying that every journalist or photgrapher I know was handed a photocpy of the printed teamsheet.

It was clearly photocopied as the Carling logo was dull, the paper was cheap and there were marks on the copy indicated there was a problem with the copier

Have you seen one with the Carling Logo incolour for example?

havn't seen any with the colour logo. Sad

what I have is B&W as u describe; and actually looks like a colour doc that was printed in B&W

It's rare to get your team sheet in colour - as you know a well known club in Dublin 8 give them to journalists in colour, but i've never seen an international one, for example, in colour

Dodge, you are spoilt in Inchicore as I've never heard of a colour teamsheet in the Aviva for football.

As well as Pats I've seen colour teamsheets at Bohs, Dundalk, Sligo and Cork. The FAI have sometimes produced them for underage games when no programmes are normally issued.

Thanks lads. I've popped one off to Matt Blue but like I said I couldn't charge for it.

Funnily enough I've no real interest in teamsheets for games where progammes are published so the only FAI teamsheets I have are i colour (u19s and so)

It really surprises me that international games don't use colour :/

Most, if not all English League Clubs use colour. On my wall atm, I have Bolton, Hull, Rochdale and Rotherham teamsheets from this current season and all are in colour.

Mr Spain I remember handing you a few colour ones at one of the Pat's european games in Inchicore! Elfsborg I think.

They've had colour ones for all the Euro games I've been too. On the odd occasion clubs have handed out photocopies of the hand written sheets with the Uefa logo etc on it, which lots of people like to collect. I've a few around. Shamrock Rovers against the Polish team in 2003 and Bohs against somebody -- Halmstad I think.
