New Member - interests and spares

hello All

It is all in the name really. I collect Essex non-League and pre-1974 Home Counties amateur.

Over the years my programmes have become an accumulation rather than a collection, and I've ended up with 100s and 100s of spares that I now don't want. The wants lists of others are fascinating and one day I daresay there will be one that I actually have so can pass on.

I am particularly interested in the Wembley Amateur Cup Finals fans' package - programme, ticket and songsheet ... does anyone know the last time a songsheeet was issued. I was on the terraces for the 1967 final but have neither song sheet or recollection of there being any community singing anyway. On this occasion my 'football special' train ticket is a particlar favorite.

I buy packages of others' progs quite often and sell on those I don't want via ebay. Great fun but at the value of material I sell will neither make me rich or meaningfully subsidise 'proper' buying.

I wouldn't say for certain it was the last, but I have a song-sheet from the 1963/64 final.

I'm always on the lookout for Wimbledon programmes, but I don't think we ever played you prior to adding the AFC prefix?
