Finally got into work around 10:15am!

Got to Goodison at around 2:25am and the que was about 100 strong then.

At around 4:30am the que grew to around 300.

Someone then got a football out and it was a laugh with quite a few people 'trying' to show off their football skills with one little fat kid whacking the ball as hard as he could everywhere.

At around 7:30am the que was taken into the Park End Stand where we qued until the ticket office opened.

Early estimations are that there were around 700-800 when the ticket office opened.

Got my ticket around 8:50am so in the end I qued up for just under 7 hours!!!!

Nearly falling asleep in work here too! Sad

Glad you got your ticket. It was like that at Fratton last year when we were in the semi!

Congrats mate, glad you managed to get your hands on a ticket.

I thought I was going to have to do the same for Cardiff away this season, but they staggered the tickets so that season tickets who'd been to at least ten away games got first choice, so there were only 100 or so of us there on the first day Smile

Well done mate. I cant believe these prem teams dont use a ballot system. We have been doing it for years! Saves queuing!

I never had that problem at Blundell Park when we drew Shrewsbury at home in the semi final of the Group Cup.

I was really shocked that the swansea tickets had to go on general sale, especially with it being hte last every derby at ninian park, programmes were a nightmare, 4,000 printed for a 20,000 crowd !!
