Yep noticed he was back yesterday. Loads of programmes that I have no interest in popping up when I search fo Rovers.
Oh joy, the pain in the ass has returned.

Laughing I saw that one.

THEY DESTROYED ALL OPPOSITION IN THE 1956/7 SEASON.

What a numpty (as we call them up here.....), that was season 1957/58............

LOSING AT HOME 3-2 AFTER EXTRA TIME

No, we lost the toss of a coin and went back to Lausanne for a play-off (no away goals in those days) Confused

I understand that people find the keyword spamming that this guy uses annoying.
But when it comes to his item descriptions it seems to incense some of you and I really don't know why. It's marketing, advertising, spiel whatever you want to call it. He obviously puts quite a lot of effort into his research and has a little story for each one. "this was George best's 11th game at united" I saw the other day. It may seem a bit OTT but when you take a look at the sales he does and the prices he realises you can see that it obviously works. I say good luck to him (apart from the keyword spamming). Wink

Hi, what makes us cross is calling something mega rare when it isn't and also saying superb or mint conditon when it clearly isn't. This is not just being economical with the truth it is being darn right dishonest!

Lots of sellers use the term mint. As others have pointed out recently it is an overused term that shouldn't really be used at all when referring to older programmes - there is really no such thing as a 'mint' pre- 1950 programme. As for the term 'rare' that's subjective. If you have a 1939 Barnsley v Yeovil programme, is that rare? Yes. Is it valuable ? nope. But a World Cup 1966 programme is much more valuable - and certainly not rare. So, I suppose you are right, but those descriptions shouldn't be used at all imho - by anyone.

keyword spamming is the biggest problem with this guy. Ebay have done nothing to stop it and now i have noticed others doing the same. I have no doubt, more and more will now copy this bloke and that is going to be a real pain...

Sorry that was a random (made up) example....and obviously a bad one . I was just trying to point out that rarity and value do not always go hand in hand.

I see from comments on his ebay feedback profile that Manori has recently died. My condolences to any of his family & friends on the board.

I can't find his eBay details - that's terrible news if correct. Despite his failings, I'm sure none of us would have wanted this.
