'i know these programmes are forgoten fixtures'

What do you mean by this Pete/Red? Who has 'forgoten' about them? Bohemians v Man Utd is as common as me!

'preston v swansea town fa cup semi 64'

I'm not surprised this is one of Man Utd's 'forgoten' fixtures, the team didnt even turn up!! Homer

the reason the book is called "forgotten fixtures" is because it is a book about ALL the Manchester United friendly games from the end of the second world war.and let's face it nobody usually remembers a friendly fixture.
it is not because people fogot to collect programmes and tickets from these games thus making them ALL valuable.
at 99p each you have paid the correct price for your items.let's face it this is only the price of a daily newspaper and you chuck that away at the end of the day don't you.you do don't you!!!
joking aside by the time you reached the late 1980's onwards you are in the realms of the old fashioned programme dealer.
these were people who had regular collectors so they could order in advance and everybody bought one for 50p or £1.
as people stopped collecting these go round and round.far too many for the supply market so worth maybe £1 on a good day.
they won't sell on ebay as the postage is usually more than the programme.
